Food Gardens

BEEP not only runs these workshops but has also started Food Gardens as practical projects in the partner schools. The food gardens are started by pupils from these workshops. They would have learned the theory of how to design, plan, and plough vegetable and what to plough at what season. The type of crops which are ploughed on these gardens ranges from Spinach, Cabbage, Carrots, Onion, Cauliflower, etc. The harvest supplies the school feeding scheme within the respective schools, whilst the remaining harvest is given to the poorest of poor pupils. BEEP aims to roll-out this program to 15 more schools by the end of 2020.
They learn the theory of how to design, plan and plough vegetables and what to plough at which season.
